"Some will assert that what we have in the Old Testament was what God 'was' whilst what we have in the New Testament is what he 'is' now. That leaves the very crucial question: 'Are we sure of what he will be tomorrow?'Where did this disconnect come from?How did Jesus explain Luke 24:25-27, 44-49 as one pointing to himself? If the message of the Scriptures was about himself and he (Jesus) is God as affirmed (not only by the eyewitnesses but from Scriptures prophesied and fulfilled), then is there a difference between Jesus in the Four Gospels and God as spoken of in the Old Testament writings?Could the New Testament writers have explained from the Old Testament writings and yet assert differently from what was written in certain portions of the same books?If it is true that all the Old Testament writings are inspired by God, then, there is the need to find out if there is a disconnect at all or why there should not be one at all.This is the basis of the 'THIS IS OUR GOD' series.
