Tracts For The Times; Volume 2

This collection of theological tracts was published by the University of Oxford between 1833 and 1841. The tracts were written in response to what authors saw as a growing threat of liberalism in the Church of England. The publication of the tracts sparked a national debate about the nature and purpose of the Church which lasted for decades.
