Translation Theory and Development Studies

The book¿s two main aims are conceptualizing translation from the perspective of complex systems and emergent semiotics and relating this conceptualization to the relationship between translation and development. It develops translation studies by providing it with a philosophical ground while considering development as both an goal and a constraint for translation.
