About Marie Fonrose Marie Fonrose was born in Haiti. With the help of Hope Christian Church and the Saybrook Alumni Association, Marie spent eight weeks providing psychological services in various parts of Haiti after the earthquake. She holds a bachelor's in biological sciences, a master's in counseling psychology, and a doctorate in psychology. She is a private practitioner (LCPC), a National Board Certified Teacher (NBCT), an adjunct faculty at both Central Michigan University and Prince Georges Community College, a mother, and previously served as a guidance counselor for 13 years.
