Bag om Treasure Island
Robert Louis Stevenson, a Scottish novelist, originally released his adventure book Treasure Island in 1883. Young Jim Hawkins embarks on a treasure hunt with a crew of pirates under the command of the famed Long John Silver in this novel. The narrative starts with a mystery sailor called Billy Bones showing up to Jim's parents' inn, the Admiral Benbow. When Bones passes away, Jim and his mother come across a treasure map among his belongings. Squire Trelawney and Dr. Livesey plan an expedition to locate the treasure after Jim gives them the map. Long John Silver, a crew member of the Hispaniola who is really a pirate and has intentions to steal the treasure, is one of the crew members they employ. The squire and the doctor are warned by Jim when he overhears the scheme, but they don't listen to him until it's too late. The ship is taken over by pirates, but Jim is able to escape with a few members of the crew and hide on the island where the hidden wealth resides. He becomes friends with Ben Gunn, a former member of Silver's crew who was marooned there, and the two of them devise a strategy to take down the pirates and get their hands on the wealth. Long John Silver eventually gets away, but Jim and his buddies are able to find the loot and make it back home without incident. Numerous movies and other forms of media have been created based on Treasure Island, which is regarded as a classic of children's literature.
