Welcome to sentient art: at least the beginnings of it. Taking images from their enormous data bases while recognizing and combining images that are one of a kind. Typing in a few words; sure, that will work but this book shows how to add additional words and commands. Giving the image more beauty and complexity.
The "prompt";
A "prompt" is the string of words that one enters to inform the engine what to imagine for you. "A tree by a lake" for example, would work just fine. But consider the prompt used for this book's cover:
"large oak trees in autumn by a lake with a fountain unreal engine -wallpaper"
The name unreal engine suggests a "virtual world" look popular in 4K video games.
The command -wallpaper makes the image in a wider aspect ratio rather that square.
Consider other words: painterly, 3D, style of Van Gogh, --ar 1920:1080, cinematic, cyber punk, realism, 3-point lighting, portrait. The possibilities are endless.
In this study my fascination with trees led these prompts.
