Andy Barnes and his two friends, Doc and June, struggle with dorm life, teachers, administrators, and romantic intrigues, during the 1950's in post WWII Europe. Uncle Sam's Kids captures that time period and how growing up in a military family was a unique, interesting, and sometimes painful experience.
