Unforeseen Consequences

As bad as life in the ruins of Detroit is, Adam Reese discovers the no-man's-land outside is worse. He's freed himself and a little girl from a madman in the wilderness, and now they've come back to the city to find sanctuary. Instead, they find an uprising against the vicious King of Detroit, the man who forced Adam to go on the run. Rebels have captured two of the high-tech stealth suits the King's sentries use to move invisibly through the streets. To the shy, once-peaceful Adam's horror, he and Elise, the woman he loves, are the only ones who fit the suits. Now Adam and Elise must form an inexperienced, two-soldier army against a city full of deadly sentries already on the hunt.
