The American West is one of the most popular genres of movies, going back to the earliest days of movie history. Based on his popular college course, Dr. William Russo collects many of his favorite Westerns often taught to students for 30 years, and presents them now to a wider audience. As President Richard Nixon once told Dr. Russo, "If I were a student again, I would be in your class."
