What is history?

Studying history, in theory, should stop us from making the same mistakes again, but only if we keep asking questions such as: Who studies history? Who should you believe? Or whose stories haven't been told. These are all very BIG questions that need exploring and the sooner the better. What is history? will start us thinking!
