When generosity exceeds tithing

Beginning this new millennium, it is essential that as a church we look over this subject in the light of the Scriptures, especially from the New Testament. We can't pretend to establish changes in the leadership and in the ecclesiastic model taking the New Testament as a source of principal inspiration, but when it comes to talk and teach about stewardship principles we just stay with the Old Testament without observing what Jesus, the disciples and the first Christians learnt and taught about it.
