At 33, Pediatric Ophthalmologist, Aki Williams, travels to a small town in Illinois to meet her biological sister, Jack Camdon. While there, she meets Carsyn Lyndon, a 43-year-old professor of archaeology who has suffered from PTSD since the loss of her parents and wife in a tragic accident.
