This is a very funny book meant for boys only, that girls are also welcome to read. This book was written for those little men who need something to read that is just for them. You can also read this book to your favorite guy of any age! It is a supplement to the Penny Mouse Early Reader series, and it's chock full of fun! Teach your child what it means to use a play on words-commonly referred to as an innuendo.
There are some old and familiar words in this book, the first primary word reading list, and some new words that repeat themselves, just so they can be learned! Penelope Dyan has put her acumen for poetry to good use, and she is certain your boy will have fun with this book.
Dyan used the concepts in the Penny Mouse Early Reader Series in her own classroom and took 15 kids (she was team teaching at the time) who were declared unable to read and in less than one month had them reading well above the group chosen as the "top" reading group!
