With Poetry In Mind

The author of Illustrated Omar Khayyam (2015) has compiled miscellaneous poems composed since and a large portion of which makes up the Book. Poetry of modern world cannot escape the jingle of the mass consumerism. With Poetry in My Mind the author has more or less struck a middle road between the two worlds of heart and head; without heart where is music? Without head what is the point? Unlike 365 quatrains following a strict rhyme pattern in his take on Omar Khayyam, the poems chosen for this book are mostly free verse, Haiku and parodies of some well-known poems.
