Women of Power

Women face the same challenges throughout the ages. Life has historically been a mixed bag of blessings and frustrations. "The world is against us" is a frequent comment. This is true because of the plan of the god of this world to defeat mankind.Women are uniquely designed to be nurturers, protectors of life, counselors, and problem-solvers for the family. Certainly that is not all God depends upon women to do, but nobody can duplicate women's unique abilities. How a woman succeeds in her purpose will depend upon a number of factors related to her character, but ultimately depends upon the quality of her relationship with God. This book attempts to explore how three notable women of the Bible approached the challenges to her purpose. It is the story of how the overcoming tenacity of three women aided them in accomplishing their purposes in spite of the challenges that their circumstances presented. These women are not victims, though at times they appeared helpless against great odds.
