Worship as Meaning

How can we draw sense from the ritual acts of Christians assembled in worship? This book examines worship from the points of view of modern and late modern theories of meaning. It applies the semiotic theory of Charles Peirce to Christian worship and surveys the current styles of liturgical theology.
