Advanced Algebra

Text for an upper level undergraduate course in abstract algebra: review of group theory with solvable groups, rings, ideals, quotient rings, polynomial rings, factorization into irreducibles and primes, field extensions, algebraic elements, Galois theory involving subgroups and normal subgroups. Solution of many problems of historical importance in polynomial equations, geometry, number theory.
