Stavros Archondakis' paintings are trying to free art from its traditional bonds to material reality. The painter focuses on the psychological parameters of colors and forms, assembled together through chaotic metamorphoses of abstract impressions. In a desperate research for the establishment of an international artistic language, the painter's colorful visions are contributing to the metamorphose of the material world to a composition of lines, planes and shadows.
