5: Far NorthAfter leaving the mountains Tom Roach returns to Burrabooka and Terangi Downs for down time. Normally life is seemingly unchanged there, but below the surface a split between the station people and the Booka folk has ripped the community apart. Long-time friendships may never recover.Roach now undertakes a new identity - Eddy Ryan. He and Darcy Stapleton then narrowly escape death in a helicopter accident. After his recovery Ryan moves to FNQ - Far North Queensland.Under the front of the tourism and a boat charter hire business, the body count mounts with action on the Coral Sea. Federal agent Gary Warden and Ryan team with the Americans to intercept open seas drug smugglers. Ryan is now too far in to run and even a new romance won't be enough to stop his further involvement. As situations play out and ghosts from the past revisit, Ryan is soon on the run again. Crime gangs and state police want him. Australian and American federal agencies have him in their back pocket.
