Brian Douglas, divorced American photographer with a weakness for the bottle, is in the wrong place at the wrong time and shoots a picture that gets him in deep trouble. He runs for his life, circling through Spain to seek answers that will clear him. In the process he must clean the sludge from his personal carburetor.
