Life in the 1950's was hard, especially for a large, poor Black family in a small southern town. Coley Hill is the story of the Hailey family who-through faith-lived, laughed and loved their way through the challenges of their day. Told through the voices of the family's matriarch and the author, Coley Hill transports the reader to a simpler time; reminding us of the power and joys of family, friends and faith in God.
