Bag om Don't Judge Me
This book is for every mum who has ever felt judged, guilty, doubted herself, felt stressed, irritated, tearful, angry, annoyed; honestly, the list could go on. We will be showing you that you are not alone, as we all juggle motherhood, relationships, running a house and working. We are all trying to be the best we can and sometimes failing at it; I mean epically failing. Many of us are trying to keep up with the image of perfect parenting and lifestyle. Guess what, it doesn't exist. Even if it did I bet you'd miss the temper tantrums, the constant tidying up, the Weetabix in your hair, the swearing under your breath as you watch the same episode of Fireman Sam on repeat for hours. It's life, it's parenting, and we are all just muddling through. I've included interviews with some fantastic mums too so that you can read their story and no doubt relate to it. Whichever emotions you are feeling on the crazy journey, someone else will be going through the same. What makes this book different to the hundreds of other mum books? Well, I'm not here to tell you how it should be done because I'm still figuring it out myself. I'd rather help you figure out what you want and remind you that you are more than a mum. Included are practical activities to help you gain clarity on your emotions, well-being and life in general; this book will show you that no matter what you think of yourself, to those that matter you are perfect, those little people that love every fibre of you and worship you. If you've ever felt like you're not that "perfect mum", don't worry. They say grey is the new black and in is the new out. We say imperfect is the new perfect and we are celebrating it.
