This book examines the relationship and interconnection of faith, religion and laws, their history and their influence on the destiny of mankind. The book is devoted to the history of Christianity The impact of its three branches - Orthodoxy, Catholicism and Protestantism- on the development of peoples and cultures is discussed. Year 2017 marks 500 years from the beginning of the Reformation, when Martin Luther proclaimed his 95 theses. This is a very important date in the history of mankind. The role of the Protestant Church in the history of the United States and the Orthodox Church in Russian history is explored.
