Gabriel naufraga en la universidad porque no le interesa estudiar, triunfa en la televisión pese a que desprecia el programa que tan bien le paga, aspira interminables líneas de coca y fuma marihuana desde la mañana, y Lima le parece objetivamente horrenda y cruel. Aunque se enamora de un chico y de una chica, siente que no encaja en las palabras homosexual o heterosexual, que su vida es un caos puro y alucinado, un caos autodestructivo y a ratos, divertido.
La vida es un juego de senderos que se bifurcan dejando siempre en nuestro ánimo la duda de un error cuyas consecuencias no sabemos calcular. Ya sea por azar o razón, se nos impone la obligación de elegir y en ese gesto, que a veces nos encadena durante años, reside la maestría de la vida.
ENGLISH DESCRIPTION Gabriel recounts a chapter of his hectic life in a kind of itinerary of vicissitudes he must overcome in order to move forward and accept himself. He has come to realize that he has a sexual identity issue: he doesn't know if he is bisexual or homosexual. Running away from his problems he finds refuge in drugs, which are easily accessible in his city. This and many other things contribute to Gabriel's downfall, and the only thing that keeps him afloat is the hope of finding someone that will love him and accept him for what he is. Because it is written in a clear and simple style, the reader cannot help but feel transported into Gabriel's world, conversing face-to-face with each of the characters that play a part in this book.
