Gila Gold

A 250 page adventure novel about the discovery of 11 bags of gold, an Indian bow and arrows, and a fine silver rosary, buried in the sand hills of modern day New Mexico. A complex story unfolds in the Acoma Pueblo - a story of priests, Spanish soldiers, Pueblo Indians, Comanches, and a remarkable Apache slave girl who are thrown together just as the Great Pueblo Revolt of 1680 is about explode across northern New Mexico. Danger, adventure, romance and discovery await those who flee the Rebellion. Lives are overturned, hardships are faced in the wilderness, daunting refugee problems are encountered in El Paso, and all of the characters are forced to make hard adjustments to their lives. Much of the action is based on real events and locations.
