About the author:

Mark Rivard was a PGA Class A member for thirty years, but gave up his membership in 2006 to join his wife in the insurance industry. Most of this book was written while he was teaching college in Raleigh, North Carolina.

He taught over 40,000 lessons and has played golf competitively as an amateur and professional since he was a young teen. He spent countless hours hitting golf balls, studying the swing, and determining the best way to explain what it takes to properly strike a golf ball. During this learning period, over nearly half his lifetime, he has taught himself and many others to manage their golf ball around the golf course in par or better. He invented The Putting Template and The Aim Checker. Mark is still a very interested amateur and plays off a 3¿handicap.
