- Stories behind the myth
I bought and read this book expecting a new perspective on the challenges that we as female leaders face in creating the space where both private life, family, and ambitions can coexist harmoniously. But I was disappointed - quite disappointed. There are no narratives or conclusions I couldn't find in a magazine. I have thought a lot about what disappoints, and fundamentally it's about the choice of stories. The author has focused far too much on finding titles instead of relevant stories. A couple of posts on LinkedIn and social media also show that two of the women interviewed are former employees of the author, even in a company where the freedom to make independent decisions about strategy and direction is subject to a global standard. One of the others runs a small production company with fewer than 15 employees, and the last has moved around in the media industry. So very disappointing plot - the authors should have been more critical in the selection of cases as these do not reflect the purpose of the book. Very thin plot and waste of money and time.
Tynd - og lidt ligegyldig
