Hidden Plunder

A strange telephone call from an unknown foreign intermediary is made to Tom Briggs, a former USA marine and CIA specialist and now a free-lance journalist crime investigator. A most challenging assignment - to locate the legendary long-lost treasure plundered by the Nazi Third Reich during World-War II - is extended to Tom, and his partner Paul Machen, a former UK government geologist and present day treasure hunter. Along with the perplexing promise of unbelievable financial reward for attempting the discovery, treasure found or not. The search for the legendary treasure will take Tom and Paul into the life of the talented and beautiful Dr. Gretchen Mollenhauer, Professor and Chair of History and Political Science at Poland's Warsaw University, who is recruited to join their efforts. The search for the treasure will take the team into the past, and ultimately lead them to a series of mountain ranges in a stunningly unsuspecting and over-looked region. Before questions can be answered, the investigative team - and other innocents - will face betrayal, capture, and inhumane treatment as they get closer to discovering the treasure, as well as gaining revelations involving the age-old mystery surrounding Adolf Hitler and Eva Braun's last days in Berlin.
