The memoir of Nguyen Xuan Thu reveals to us an adamant will and relentless efforts of an orphan from a poor village in Quang Tri. After his parents deceased, he left his hometown, wandering here and there in strange lands, experiencing numerous survival difficulties before becoming one of the founders of RMIT University Vietnam.
