Little Men

After the resounding success of Louisa May Alcott's Little Women, the beloved author penned her second foray in the lives of the March family members, Little Men: Life at Plumfield with Jo's Boys, published in 1871. The later work picks up where Little Women left off, chronicling Jo's work at the Plumfield Estate School, which she runs with her husband, Fritz Bhaer. Many past characters reappear, like Meg and John Brooke and Amy and Theodore Lawrence, plus a whole slew of new personalities in the form of the children who attend the school. Like Little Women, Little Men is steeped in both realism and charm.
