Inevitably separated from the woman who brought hope back to his life, Rudy leaves for France to seek seasonal employment. This simple journey, however, soon becomes a quest for self-discovery, which takes him through France, Italy, and Austria before he is able to return to Spain. Battling his inner demons as the lies he invented in order to survive close in on him, Rudy's sanity is tested in ways he would never imagine. This is a story of human spirit.
