Bag om Mathivate
M..A..T..H..what does it spell? BEST SUBJECT EVER!!! Thank you x thank you for your part in making sure kids love learning!! My book, Mathivate, is the mathlicious technique to put a positive parabola on everyone's face. This book is filled with 15 x 10 pages of mathlicious activities, projects, and games that will ensure kids love learning math. I have been teaching for 7 x 3 + 4 years, therefore, I understand the busy life of a teacher. I created this book to be teacher friendly!! There are pictures of student artifacts, templates, a teacher page, and then a student page to duplicate. I use each of these ideas with middle school kids. I have presented to all grade level teachers and have been able to adapt these ideas for any grade level. The Math Muscles activity is what I use for the beginning of class questions. One version is a bingo card they complete with their answers. There are several projects that represent a variety of concepts, and a matholiday section. My students love their names, so I created several projects where they use their name. There are numerous activities that can be used daily. I use my vocabulary ideas, camathouflage and fracordiddles every week. These are quick mathtastic methods kids will love as you introduce math terms. Follow it up with once a week bamathanana!! Each day of the week is named for something fun that my students complete: Mathoggle Monday, Tangeo Tuesday, Wuzzle Wednesday, Thirsty Thursday, and Foremathead Friday!! My goal is for my class to be one of the best fractions of my kids' day. Being a math teacher, I have kids walk in my room with negative parabolas on their faces, and I am determined to rotate those into positive ones!! Kids can have fun and learn. I have dedicated my teaching career in making sure kids are loved and have fun while discovering the mathematics around us. I wish you the best x best + best year so far!!! I hope your students love these activities, projects, and games as much as mine!!! Add to your passion. Subtract the I can't. Multiply by I can. Divide by the love and respect we have for kids and the teaching profession. This will equal a celemathbration!!!
