Monster Magic

Minnie and Midge were spending the summer holiday in Scotland. They had a lovely beach to play on, full of golden sands and coloured pebbles. They were playing a game they had often played before... Mother gave them a list of things to find... an almost impossible list... and if they succeeded, she told them, something magical would happen. Of course, they never did manage to complete the task, so nothing magical ever happened... but still they tried.Today they were hunting stones, arranging their finds in a spiral pattern on the sand.
