The Japanese management technology that made the biggest impact on the world in the latter half of the 20th century was the Toyota Production System, often also referred to as to Just-in-Time (JIT) and Total Quality Management (TQM). However, as these management technologies became practiced as Lean System around the world and were further developed, they lost their status as Japanese Production System¿and in recent years, the superior quality of Japanese products has rapidly lost ground. To be successful in the near future, a global marketer must develop an excellent management technology that can impress customers and continuously provide high value products in a timely manner through corporate management in the 21st century. To transforming Japanese corporate management strategy, the author has created the New Manufacturing Theory (NMT) using the three core systems: The Total Development System (TDS), Total Production System (TPS) and Total Marketing System (TMS) for high-linkage business process of product design, production, sales marketing, SCM and the innovative deployment of global manufacturing.
