Old Promises

Hazel Whitmore is a New York City girl relocated to Crooked Creek, Missouri. She opens the door of her new house to find eight years of dust blanketing the floor, cobwebs hanging from the ceiling, no electricity, no phone, no Internet and no friends. Hanging Rock School is run by the Whitmores but Hazel isn't welcome. Only another outcast Lily Cowan will speak to her. Hazel's Grandfather Whitmore is furious she lives in Crooked Creek. He wants her to leave. How far will he go to force her to move?
