The year 2015 in political cartoons by Darrin Bell of the Washington Post Writers Group, winner of the 2015 Robert F. Kennedy Journalism Award for Editorial Cartooning, and the 2016 Berryman Award for Editorial Cartooning. From police brutality to the Confederate Flag, to mass shootings, to Marriage Equality for gays, to the campaign for President. . . this was the year when the country went both sane and insane at the same time. These stunningly-drawn, full color cartoons are thoughtful and evocative.
