Reflections

'Reflections' is the story of the girl child in the words of a girl child herself. Launched at the Jaipur Literary Festival, Tanessa Puri's book - 'Reflections' is a portfolio of the pug marks of human emotions that a person experiences during the roller- coaster of life. Teenage years, which serve as both, years of making and a time of memory are solely and subtly worded throughout the book. The poet unconsciously instills a sense of self-realization into the reader, thereby making it essential to carry it as 'food for thought' mentally with oneself everywhere. The ornamentally described turbulent times are made to seem very inviting but at the same time, the author clearly lays down the 'shatter or shine' boundaries of these years. The attempts of a teenager to comprehend the diverse emotions that have divulged over time are a perfect insight into the constantly evolving human generations. The variety of every child's childhood articulates itself through the story of one.
