If you are perusing this, you are either a non-dog person under pressure to own a dog, a dog person pressuring a non-dog person to own a dog, an unbridled dog lover who reads all things dogs or someone who is desperately killing time. Regardless, welcome! What follows is the non-dog person's guide for living with dogs. I was once a non-dog spouse with one rule - no dogs. Needless to say, I am now a middle-aged parent with TWO dogs. This guide provides my brief story of capitulation, an introduction to Dogese, explanations about dog habits and some dog survival tips for the non-dog person. Believe me, if you are a non-dog person with a dog person in your life, you are most likely headed down the path of dog ownership -- this booklet is for you. PLEASE NOTE, this booklet is SHORT, I am NOT an expert and this is NOT the end-all guide to owning dogs!
