Storia di un'anima (Story of a Soul) was written by Ambrogio Bazzero, but was first published posthumously by Emilio De Marchi in 1885, with a long preface describing the life and works of Bazzero. The book collects, in the form of diary, the confessions of a sensitive soul and it has a melancholy romantic feeling.
