The Dispatches and Letters of Vice Admiral Lord Viscount Nelson

First published between 1844 and 1846, this seven-volume collection of letters documents the celebrated naval career of Lord Nelson in his own words. Volume 5 covers Nelson's career from 1802 to 1804, during which, after the Peace of Amiens, Nelson enjoyed nineteen months' leave from the navy.
