The Gates of Everything

In the aftermath of 9/11 a man without an identity is admitted to a downtown emergency room. In the ensuing years we learn that he, much like the New York of the new century whose fate he shares, has been changed irrevocably by his experience. Or maybe he was never the man he claimed to be in the first place.
