The Mark of the Dragon

In all of the kingdoms no one dares to challenge the legend of the dragon that sleeps at the heart of the realm. Fear of any technology that might wake it from its century long slumber has kept the power in the hands of those whose skill with a sword is unsurpassed. Horatio returns from his final trial, troubled as he prepares to take his place as heir to the northern realm. But instead of the welcome of his father's embrace he is greeted by nothing but ash and death. Fuelled by a vengeful fury Horatio sets out to discover the truth behind the devastating attack. But nothing can prepare him for what he finds. Horatio has to face the shattering truth that his world is a lie and that only if he can accept who he truly is can he save not only himself but all of humanity.
