The Prince And The Pauper

It is a novel written by Mark Twain. It was first published in Canada in 1881 before being published in the United States in 1882. It is the first historical novel Twain. Set in 1547, tells the story of two identical physical appearance: Tom Canty, a pauper who lives with his cruel father in Offal Court, London, and Prince Edward, son of Henry VIII of England.
