The Reformed Pastor

Living and writing at a time of great religious and social upheaval in England, Richard Baxter was nonetheless known throughout the land as a man of peace, trying to help both sides during the English Civil War, and finding himself at odds with both at well. A true advocate of the Protestant Reformation, Baxter used The Reformed Pastor to encourage a life of transparency and responsibility for those called to holy orders. Still, his goal is not to lambast, but to inspire and provoke great insight for men of the cloth who seeks to serve their God and their congregration.
