Sometimes, good intentions and righteous motives aren't enough to keep you from harm; and sometimes, the truth will not set you free. Such was the case of Murdoch Jefferson Jones, who had survived a rough childhood and found shelter in religion. His father, a salesman and pastor, guided him into the universe of televangelism and Christian capitalism. His financial consulting business expanded to include clients from the dark side of Alt-Right politics and anti-government militants. He tried to walk away, but he'd sold out his spiritual values for the acquisition of wealth. Jones had a hefty offshore account, a trophy wife, a Bentley and a penthouse condo in uptown Atlanta's Buckhead neighborhood. He was trapped by self-depreciation and deceit.
