The Seventh Magpie

The flight of the Magpie was as undulating and irregular as Claire's life had become. Four years down the line from taking on class 18a, her superstition and belief in the Magpie Poem was leading her into a self-fulfilling prophecy of doom. Only the passage of time could resolve great issues that could destroy her life. But sorrow, secrets and superstition become the ingredients of a love story, potentially, never to be told.
