The Texas City Poet

W.O. "Uncle Bill" Wheeless' school of poetry was learned in the death of two daughters, his wife, abandoned by his only son and loss of every possession in the Galveston-Texas City hurricane. This is a random collection of a few hundred of his more than 5,000 poems, rhyming stories and limericks. They range from the depth of despair to the joys of survival...along with poems of Texas, cockroaches, mosquitoes, dogs and the seasons.
