Transformational leadership and servant leadership are two leadership methods that have been much discussed in recent years. Transformational leadership is leadership intent on building commitment to organizational objectives and then empowering followers to accomplish these. Servant leadership is generally Christian based and focuses on how leaders lead by serving individuals. The two seem divergent and unconnected but in reality hold great potential as a comprehensive and effective method of leadership.
