Bag om The Winding Path of a Shero's Journey
inspiration and transformation can come from unexpected sources. During a three-month hospitalization recovery as a result of a COVID-19 diagnosis, author Carolyn Benton found herself struggling in isolation when it came to her spirituality and resilience to keep moving forward in life. She reached out to Ella Bell Agnew Gordon for guidance and direction, but did not expect the transformational testimony she would receive that would strengthen her trust in God and grant her faith in her abilities of survival. The Winding Path of a Shero's Journey is the culmination of the various conversations and interviews these two women shared woven into a narrative of Ella's life, a charismatic, refined, optimistic, and independent woman. Her story offers connective themes of hope, faith, and gratitude as she faced struggles and successes through careers, marriage and divorce, childbirth, segregation, and more. Through it all, she persevered and submitted herself to God to direct her path in all circumstances which He, in turn, has and continues to do. Prepare to be inspired and transformed as this story takes into account relationship building between individual experiences leading to the social and cultural contexts of the growth and development of women in leadership.
