What's The Point?

After a lovelorn, promiscuous, unabashed, amoral, and unpublished author's best friend kills himself, he's arrested when copious amounts of drugs are pinned onto him by the state. As he's about to pull the trigger on himself in an effort to avoid time, he discovers that a comet beyond the size of jupiter is going to obliterate earth in thirty days. After receiving the news, he decides to set out to document what happens until the end of humanity and witnesses the chilling truths about the human condition, family, love, fear, desire, and conquest in the process.
